The Auspicious Gurupurnima was observed in Jujersa Yogashram  on 7th July  2009.  Every year this ceremony is observed on the full moon day of the month of Ashar (the third month according to the solar calender of Bengal).  On this Sacred day the Sublime Self appeared as Guru or Spiritual Teacher for the salvation of mankind. It is believed that the Guru Shakthi (power)  becomes especially active on this day.

The morning started with many disciples coming to give Pranam to Guruji. This was followed by a Fire Ceremony offered by Guruji Himself.

As part  of the celebrations  Gurudev gave a  speech.  The central theme was   “Go on practicing Kriya keeping utmost reverence. This is the only way to become accomplished”.
