History of The Fellowship

  • Swami Sadhanananda Giri came to Ireland for the first time in 2004.
  • He gave retreats at Chrysalis Holistic Centre, Donard, Co. Wicklow and Airfield Trust, Dundrum, Co. Dublin.
  • He returned again in 2005 and gave Retreats at Chrysalis again and also at Dunderry Park, Dunderry, Navan, Co. Meath.
  • Due to requests from disciples Guruji returned again in 2007 and gave retreats at Dowdstown House, Navan, Co. Meath and Dunderry Park.
  • 2009 saw Swami Sadhanananda Giri return to Ireland for the fourth time. He gave a retreat at Dunderry Park and two at Chrysalis Holistic Centre.  This time He also held a public event at Catherine Mc Auley Centre in Dublin. We will invite Him to return to Ireland again in the near future.
  • 2010 We have had a Weekend Retreat once a year since 2010. This is usually held on the third weekend in August. The weekend is residential and is open to all who practice Kriya in the Lineage of Swami Sadhanananda Giri.

  • 2017 Gurumoyee Ma was officially awarded the Throne of  Guru by Swami Sadhanananda Giri on Gurupurnima, July 9th, 2017. Gurupurnima was celebrated in  Jujersha Yogashram, India; Ireland  and San San Francisco, USA.  Gurumoyee Ma (aka Philomena (Phyl)  Stanley) is a direct disciple of Swami Sadhanananda Giri.  Gurumoyee Ma was Initiated into Kriya Yoga after traveling to Jujersha Yogashram, Kolkata, India, in January 2004. After sincere and dedicated practice of Kriya Yoga she is awarded the Throne of Guru. Gurumoyee Ma is a householder who diligently and reverently incorporated Her Kriya Yoga practice into daily life. She Initiates sincere seekers into the path of Kriya Yoga.
